LWBC Missions Sunday School Class - begins today at 9:00 AM in the new building. Text will be Global Misions Handbook by Steve Hoke and Bill Taylor. Cost is $9.00. Please contact Richard and Laurie Schweinsberg ASAP if you plan to attend the class so they will know how many books to order.
LWBC MOMS IN PRAYER - PRAYER FOCUS - Join us in praying for our children to have discernment. "Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!" Psalm 119:2 NKJV. Come join Moms in Prayer as we begin meeting for our weekly prayer time on Thursday, September 9th from 9:00 until 10:00 AM at 571 Lookout Ridge Road. May we pray for you and your children? If you are not a student but are available every 1st and 3rd Thursday morning (even occasionally), we would appreciate your help.
ADOPT OUR CHURCH - A new ministry at LWBC. Individuals/families/groups are needed to sign up for one month to volunteer a short amount of time before services each Sunday picking up the tash littering our church property. MEN'S MINISTRY - LWBC is coordinating and further developing its discipleship ministry to men through a new ministry called Triple M Ministry (Man to Man to Mankind). If you would like to be involved in discipleship, contact Jim Gaston, 434-665-0276, or Matt Short, 434-239-3461. This involvement could either be as someone desiring to disciple or be discipled.
BRUCE WILKINSON author of "The Prayer of Jabez" and "Secrets of the Vine" will be the keynote speaker at the Blue Ridge Pregnanc Center's Annual Benefit.
