Living Word Baptist Church began as a church plant in the spring of 1984. The church body has met in numerous locations until finding its permanent home on Waterlick Rd. in the fall of 1986. The sanctuary was completed in January of 1988. There was an additional Educational building built in February of 1991.

In the fall of 2005 we purchased 12.5 acres of land that adjoins our existing property. We believe this purchase is an answer to prayer and another example of the blessings of God upon us. We are getting ready to break ground on a multi-purpose facility that will be used for worship for a short period of time until a new sanctuary is built. There are also master plans for other educational buildings and upgrades to the property.

Within the last 6 years we have seen an unusual blessing of the Holy Spirit in the church. Hundreds have been saved and baptized as well as true community being developed. These are exciting days at LWBC and we would love to invite you to come and join us!
